Vibe like Rihanna: Style Puma x Fenty

Riri is one of my favorite celebrities hands down. Her transition from friendly pop star to a grown, sexy and edgy pop ICON has been extremely riveting to watch from both a music stand point and fashion, which explains why I was so excited when she became the Creative Director of a collaboration between Puma and Fenty. I had been anticipating the rest of her line after seeing her fur slides drop and creeper sneakers, sky is the limit for her and I couldn’t wait to see how she could expand Puma and Fenty’s brands even further.

This past week her cutting edge sporty pieces hit the market so her fans could purchase her clothing at Puma.com or Foot Locker’s Fitness Boutique SIX:02 and there will be various pop-up shops in major cities. I personally loved that when her pieces were available for sale on Sep. 6th, she actually engaged with her fans and customers by shopping with them, which was a great personal touch despite the prices of the pieces. Her being at the actual location probably helped a lot of pieces get sold in itself.

When I initially saw the line I loved it from a celebrity styling perspective because the pieces were so bold and daring despite being apparently minimalist inspired, but this also proved to be possibly complicated to style for everyday fans. So, I created a lot of different looks asking myself from time to time what would Queen Ri wear? Which lead to a strenuous process of elimination, but also lead to some of the most creative styles featuring these awesome Puma x Fenty pieces and ankle booties on my blog for you ladies to enjoy and hopefully get inspired from.
